Vistula Group of Universities was established in 2012 as a result of the merger of three high profile universities of Poland, namely: Vistula University, Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Business in Wroclaw.

Academy of Finance and Polish Open University was also acquired in 2012 and 2014 accordingly and became a part of the Vistula Group of Universities.

Vistula University has dedicated itself to creating an excellent educational and research establishment. Located in one of Europe’s most fascinating and fastest growing capital cities, it has a unique international atmosphere with students coming from 80 different countries from all over the world.

From 2014 Vistula University cooperates with London School of Economics and now our students can get double degree from Vistula and this prestigious University of London, one of the best universities worldwide.

The Group offers a wide range of programs in the English and Polish languages in the fields of: Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, International Relations and Public Affairs, Tourism and Recreation, Finance and Accounting, Management, Philology and Art.

A student company Academic Force supervised by prof. Krzysztof Rybiński operates at the University, performing research for external companies.
Also the JOB SPOT event – the first organized by students lecturers with business specialists and employers’ open days in Poland take place at the University.
We maintain the Globalizer ‒ the only program in Poland within which foreign students write theses in form of projects supporting Polish companies to start operation in the country of their origin.

Mission Statement

The mission of Vistula Group of Universities is to provide high quality educational services for the international student community in a spirit of tolerance and respect for different opinions, views and beliefs.

Pursuing this mission involves conditions developed by Vistula Group of Universities that enable students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to independently solve the problems they face in everyday life. At the same time, the profile of education at the University aims at meeting the demands of the labour market and the challenges of the information age.

The main objective of Vistula University is the best possible preparation of students for their future careers and meeting the needs of employers in the local and international labour market, both in small business and in large multinational corporations. The university curriculum is based on the academic and business experience of lecturers. As a result, students gain not only a solid theoretical knowledge, but also excellent practical experience.

The university cooperates with leading scientists from academic centres around the world, who are invited to give guest lectures.

Accommodation

Vistula Group of Universities offer students with housing. We also give assistance to incoming students by giving information about vacancies at public dormitories or by helping them find rental flats/houses close to campus. Students who apply for housing assistance earlier will have a higher chance of finding a better place.
