Overview & History
Universiti Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) began as a Vocational Centre in 2000, specializing in Land Surveying, and gained college status due to rising demand. The institution launched various programs, including the Department of Geospatial and Land Development and a short course in Geospatial Technology. Aligning with Malaysia’s National Transformation Program, UGM achieved full university college status in 2014. The university is dedicated to providing quality education enriched with soft skills. UGM has expanded its footprint with satellite campuses across Malaysia and aims to establish more campuses locally and internationally. The institution emphasizes continuous engagement with stakeholders to ensure high-quality educational experiences for its students.
