Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is a self-financed university recognized as an institution of eminence. It began in 1953 by starting India’s first self-financed medical college through a unique public-private partnership. Over time, MAHE added many other colleges and programs, and in 1993, the Government of India officially granted it the status of a deemed to be university. Today, MAHE offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in fields like medicine, engineering, management, humanities, and health sciences. With over 30,000 students from more than 60 countries, it provides a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
