Requirement to Study in Austria
- Most Austrian universities require that student know German, as many study programs (especially Bachelors) are – at least partially — taught in German.
- For English-taught degrees, Students must be a proficient English speaker.
- Students have to prove that they would be entitled to apply for your chosen degree program in the country where they earned their last diploma (high school or Bachelor’s diploma).
- Non-EU/EEA students with a degree from a non-EU/EEA country may only study the same discipline or something closely related to it. For example, if they finish their Bachelor’s in Humanities, they cannot go for a Master’s in Business.
- Students need relevant professional experience if they apply for a graduate degree at a university of applied sciences.
